I can confirm that this product is designed for use with laptops. However, it will only work with items that have a full-sized USB connection. Please check the connections of your device.

I would think so. As long as it has a USB port for the dongle to fit into I can't see why it wouldn't work. All the software is downloaded from the dongle straight onto your device.

I don't think it does use an ordinary sim card , it must be a mobile broadband sim.

no it won't.. my advice take a DVD player with you n some DVDs OR take your PVR/DVR with you n catch up on all that TV you have recorded but not watched yet

I have looked into this and can confirm that 1GB is used when streaming per hour (standard definition). Therefore, this item may not be suitable.

Question
this dongle only loads on 64bit operating system
when used on 64 bit operating system this works fine, but on trying to load onto a 32 bit system the installer stops, saying installation has been interrupted. have tried this on several machines, on win xp, vista, win 7 sp1, and result is the same,

works fine on xp64, win 7 64 bit and on android tablet pc.

any ideas?

I can't find anything to indicate that the dongle is not suitable for 32 bit systems. It could be something to do with the USB ports or relevant drivers. If its not suitable for your needs please contact customer services who will be happy to help.
