Question
Internal flash memory
Hi, can someone tell me if the canon hf r406 has any internal flash memory? The specs listed here say it does have a 8gb internal but I can't find this anywhere else to confirm. Thank you.

Answer(s)
Yes, it does!!! In fact, the Canon HF r406 can not be used without a flash memory inserted into the draw, for this purpose.
I recommend you use a flash memory of at least 4
gb.
This, you will have to buy, and insert yourself. Full instructions come with the camra.
This flash memory should give you up to an hour's filming, or more.
Please always remeber to recharge the removeable battery after each filming session. This camra can also be used with a direct mains lead, for extended filming.

Question
What resolution are the digital still images recorded at?
I am trying to work out whether I would need to get a dedicated digital stills camera as well. I require hi definition stills for some projects and if the definition of the stills produced by this unit match a standard TV image, this would be inadequate for my purposes.
