Question
why wont dongle work?
I recently purchased this TV, and the dongle recognises my modem, but when i put in the passrod it just comes up with "not connected" or "disabled"
Have wired it downstairs and it works great wired but it is for upstairs and the dongle (Vezzy200) came up as "no driver found" when plugged into my laptop, and i cant find a driver online. Is this likely to be the problem? Any help would be appreciated

Hey Sammy, I tried everything to try and get connected, but nothing worked, I was plugging the dongle straight into the tv and after reading this thread tried using the USB extension that came with the tv and everything now works spot on.

It should really say in the instructions to do this.

After a chat with the techy helpline, it turns out the cradle has to be used, not just plug direct into back of the TV. They could have done with putting that in the instructions, as it now works BRILLIANTLY

I purchased a Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse convinced it was Bluetooth. However, the mouse uses what is Nano Technology and does work with this Smart TV through the USB. It is so much better than the wired or internal mouse. Argos have a collection of this type of mouse although this model was purchased elsewhere. Nb. I still don't know if it will accommodate a Bluetooth but I am very happy with my solution.

Most plug and play USB mice will be compatible with the TV. However, there is a limit on the current that can be drawn, but this shouldn't be a problem for most mice.

The compatible webcam for this TV is Cat No 109/2574. Also, you are correct, this TV supports USB mice, but does not support keyboards.

hi,thank you four question, after checking the info online - you can connect the iPad to your TV. The specs page claims "Support for 1024 x 768 with Dock Connector to VGA adapter; 576p and 480p with Apple Component A/V Cable, 576i and 480i with Apple Composite Cable." So you can hook it up to your TV and get sort-of hi def output if you have a VGA input on your TV, and are otherwise limited to standard def TV output.

Question
Dongle connection
As this tv comes with a dongle, does that mean it needs a sim card? And if so would I need to 'top up' credit monthly? Or will it connect to router with no extra cost? Thanks

Answer(s)
No. The dongle just plugs into your TV and is a way for it to link up wirelessly your internet at home. You don't need to top it up because it just connects automatically and it's not like a phone so no sim card required. Just set up your TV, plug it in and connect it up to your internet.

Hope that helps.
