Customer questions and answers for Cookworks Signature Digital Halogen Oven.

Question
Appoint operation
Hi, we have just purchased this halogen oven and all seems to work fine, except that is the appoint function...According to the instructions, you set the timer, set the temp and then using the appoint button set the time you want it to start in, for example 10 minutes..However, it is not starting itself off and the minutes only increase/decrease in increments of 10 on the appoint function..The instructions state you can set the appoint from 1 min up?? Please can someone advise the correct way to use the appoint function as i think we are doing it correctly which would mean a faulty machine?? many thanks Sandra.

Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into this for you I can confirm that if you are following the instructions as advised and you are still unable to get the machine working correctly then this could be a fault with the item. In this case I would advise you refer to where you purchased the item from, either being the store with your proof of purchase, or call Customer Services with your order number if you had the item for home delivery. We will then be able to assist you further doing whatever it will require to get this item in a workable condition even if it means replacing the item for you.

the lid lifts up and you put the ring on top of the glass bowl and the lid lowers down and sits on top of the ring perfectly.

Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into your query, I can confirm that as the Cookworks Signature Digital Halogen Oven is similar to a regular oven (halogen ovens work by circulating the hot air past the food), foil can be used whilst cooking food with this product.

Hi,
Thanks for your question.

It does not mention anywhere in the product description about fan speed settings, there are several settings that this halogen oven can be set to which are roasts, bakes, toasts, grills, fries, steams, boils, defrosts and reheats.
The temperature range is from 30 - 250°C.

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have checked this for you and although I cannot confirm noise levels in decibels the noise relates to the same as a fan assisted oven, electrical fan or extractor fan as the fan on the halogen oven is powerful.
