Question
Appoint operation
Hi, we have just purchased this halogen oven and all seems to work fine, except that is the appoint function...According to the instructions, you set the timer, set the temp and then using the appoint button set the time you want it to start in, for example 10 minutes..However, it is not starting itself off and the minutes only increase/decrease in increments of 10 on the appoint function..The instructions state you can set the appoint from 1 min up?? Please can someone advise the correct way to use the appoint function as i think we are doing it correctly which would mean a faulty machine?? many thanks Sandra.

Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into this for you I can confirm that if you are following the instructions as advised and you are still unable to get the machine working correctly then this could be a fault with the item. In this case I would advise you refer to where you purchased the item from, either being the store with your proof of purchase, or call Customer Services with your order number if you had the item for home delivery. We will then be able to assist you further doing whatever it will require to get this item in a workable condition even if it means replacing the item for you.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into your query, I can confirm that as the Cookworks Signature Digital Halogen Oven is similar to a regular oven (halogen ovens work by circulating the hot air past the food), foil can be used whilst cooking food with this product.

Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into your query, I can confirm that to steam or fry with the Cookworks Signature Digital Halogen Oven, you would be required to use a halogen oven steamer and frying pan. These products would have to be specifically designed to use with halogen ovens, as measurements would differ from regular steaming trays and frying pans.

Question
How should I use the boil function?
Could you tell me how I can use the boil function please? Should I just put some water directly into the glass bowl with whatever vegetables I wish to cook (without a rack)? Or should I use eg a pyrex dish and position this inside on the lower rack?
