hello the lamp i got never got hot its really good i have an autistic son and got it for him when he was at nursery the only thing is u cant fix it to the floor so it can tip over if u push against it to mush

Yes the bubble tube does vibrate and im sure your daughter would love it . Do read comments about noisy pump though . Mine was quite noisy which would put your daughter off however I wrapped bubble wrap around the pump and it works great now . Hope this helps from Christine x

I am sorry for the problems you have had. I have looked into this and as long as you have followed the instruction and have switched the item on at the back near when the connecter plug goes then the item will change colour. If this is still not happening then there seems to be a fault with the item. Please contact customer services on 0845 640 2020 or return to store and we will look into this for you.
