Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into this for you, I can confirm that there is an error on the website for the depth of the appliance itself. The instruction manual states that the actual depth of the hob will be 52cm, which is then larger than the cut out for your sideboard.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Hi, thank you for your question.

The dimensions of this hob when lying flat are:
Height = 52mm
Width = 590mm
Depth = 520mm

The aperture size required are:
Width = 560mm x Depth = 490mm.

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have spoken to the technical department and they have confirmed that they do not state this within the manual as this can vary depending on the usage of the appliance. I can provide you with the wattage of this appliance when in use, and this will be 6000 watts.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

I have looked into this and I can confirm that the specifications show that the A60C needs to be hard wired into a cooker point on the wall and on its own circuit.

Not familiar with the term single pace electricity. But re the 13 amp socket, you must have the hob wired into a 13 amp socket specific for this purpose (i.e. not used for any other appliance). If you don't already have such a socket you will need an electrician to install one. Don't on any account wire it to a 3 pin plug. The wires from the hob have to be wired directly into a socket dedicated to that purpose. This hob works well and is markedly cheaper than similar hobs. We have had it 3 months now with no problems. Only niggle is the numbers 1-6 around each knob are too small as is the white dot on the knob itself. To make the latter more visible I added a dab of white nail varnish (my daughter's).
