Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into this for you, I can confirm that there is an error on the website for the depth of the appliance itself. The instruction manual states that the actual depth of the hob will be 52cm, which is then larger than the cut out for your sideboard.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Hi, thank you for your question.

The dimensions of this hob when lying flat are:
Height = 52mm
Width = 590mm
Depth = 520mm

The aperture size required are:
Width = 560mm x Depth = 490mm.

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have spoken to the technical department and they have confirmed that they do not state this within the manual as this can vary depending on the usage of the appliance. I can provide you with the wattage of this appliance when in use, and this will be 6000 watts.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Question
Measurements given on website for this hob are incorrect
Please can you put the correct measurements for this hob on your website!

In an answer to a previous question for this item you have confirmed that the measurements given are indeed incorrect - but this has not been corrected on your website. How come?

This is very confusing for people in the process of choosing the appropriate hob.
