Question
just one button to press?
Is it one button to turn on the gas and light it. It needs to be simple as it is for an elderly person

Answer(s)
The previous answer is incorrect. It is not "simple" at all.

To ignite a ring you need to turn the gas on and push the knob inwards. You then press the ignition button and the ring will ignite. You then need to hold the knob in for about five seconds and release it.

An elderly person may well have a problem with having to hold the knob in for the duration.

Answer(s)
Hi FlashBobby,

I have been in contact with the supplier and can confirm this product can be connected to a gas bottle but it will have to be converted. This cooker comes with the LPG jets, but not the full conversion kit.
I can advise that you seek advice and assistance from a licensed engineer to help with this.

I hope this helps,

Hi,

A freestanding cooker such as the Bush AG56S Single Gas Cooker – White must have a minimum of 20mm clearance either side of the appliance (either wall or cabinet). Always hire a Gas Safe registered engineer to complete any gas installation. A cooker can be situated near a tile splashback and wallpaper above.

Thank you for using Question and Answer.
