Hi, Yagnesh.

Provided the O2 sim is a data sim designed for tablets, then it will be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

I hope this helps.

Yes to use the 3G option you do need a SIM card but be very careful about this. For example, the Three network may seem a good choice, however, after a few days they will automatically block this device from using data if you put it on their Mobile Phone Sim option, and if you put it on their Tablet or Broadband offering you will not be able to use the normal voice features this phone/tablet has. Ask me how I know, Three will not compromise they simply will not support this phone on their network. Orange does seem to be working so far, but for how long I'm not sure.

Thank you for your question regarding the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 - 7 Inch 8GB WIFI and 3G Tablet-Silver.

I can advise that in order to use the 3G functionality of this tablet you would require a compatible sim card from your network provider.

Question
HSPA+ 21Mbps 3G network connectivity
Which Means There's A Way To Connect A Sim Card, As It Says: " HSPA+ 21Mbps 3G network connectivity "

My Understanding Is That 3G Is A Mobile Network Internet Connection & Not For Connecting Through WiFi Home Broadband.

Hello, thank you for your question.

Having looked into your query, I can confirm the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 - 7 Inch 8GB WIFI and 3G Tablet-Silver does have mobile internet access through the 3G or the tablet can connect to a home network router via the Wi-Fi. I can also confirm the tablet accepts standard size data SIM cards. Therefore, if your GiffGaff SIM card is a data SIM, then there should be no problem using the two together.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Hello, thank you for your question.

I have checked and this tablet has Wi-Fi built in; it cannot be used with a dongle. It has a 3 megapixel camera at the rear and a VGA front facing camera.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
