Operating System Compatibility: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, MAC OS X . 3GB. Pre-loaded with 12GB of data. Last for up to 12 months. Can be used as a memory stick (card not supplied). Mobile broadband coverage varies within the UK similar to a mobile phone signal, please check coverage for your area at www.three.co.uk. Mobile broadband works in UK and Northern Ireland only and will not work abroad.

Apart from the price, what is the difference between 3 Prepay Broadband 12GB Starter Kit and the 3 Mobile Broadband USB 12GB Pack?

I have vista and use this dongle no problem,all 3 mobile broadband dongles should work with vista.

This is perfect for what I need but dont down load films from it as it will only last you under 6 months instead of the year

when my 12gb runs out in october do I purchase another or how much does it cost to top up for a forther 12 months , would it cause problems if I just bought another one from argos the same.

Hello,

Thank you for your question, having looked into your query, I am sorry to say that the sim card used inside the 3 Mobile Broadband USB 12GB Pack, is a normal sim card. The iPAD does require a micro sim. You can cut the sim card down using a sim cutter, however we would not advise you to do this, to avoid damaging the chip.

What is the difference between the 3 Prepay E353 Broadband dongle (549/0983) and the 3 Mobile Broadband USB 12GB Pack (549/2793) and can you confirm both work with Windows 7 and both have a 12GB allowance that has a 12 month expiry date please? Many thanks.

I can confirm that there was no difference between the two items you have listed, except that 549/0983, superceeded 549/2793, which is no longer availalble. The dongle does come with a 12GB allowance valid for 12 months and is compatible with Windows 7.
