You get 140+ TV and radio channels with Freesat. If you visit the Freesat website you will be able to get a list of all channels that you can receive.

do i have to have it connected to a phone line
does it need to connect to a phone line to recieve a picture i dont have my current sky box connected to phone line the only differance is i can not buy on box office

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into your query and I can confirm that you do not need to have this satellite receiver connected to a phone line to enable you to receive a picture. It will work the same as your sky box you will not be able buy channels interactively without being connected to the phone line.

Thanks for your question.
It is not possible to attach an external hard drive to this item. Argos do sell a range of Freeview boxes with a recording facility and internal hard drive built in. Please search our website for details.

This item is only able to be used in England and will not pick up English channels if used in Portugal.

It is not possible to view any photographs through this satellite receiver, it can only receive satellite channels.

I'm sorry but you won't be able to use this item to pick up English channels in Brazil. A specialist satellite service would be required to enable this feature.

can splitters be fitted to the cables from sky dish to sky+ box to allow feed to free to air sat receiver as well.

and probably alot more depending what dish you use and what LBN, i.e. if its motorised you be able to pick up other free to air signals of a near by satillite to astra 28.2 east i.e. astra 19.2 east and hobird on 13 east. it all depends how you angle the dish mate
