Hi Andrew. All you will get in the box is the instruction manuel, remote control and batteries. The base stand is already attached, you have to purchase a wall bracket if fixing to wall

The TV comes with remote control and the base stand is already fitted, complete instruction manual and gurantee. To use the built in freeview TV you will need a digital aerial. If you have not got one, you can get a good one from Argos.

This Tv Isn't a Full HD set (1080p)
But it can display a *higher* definition picture than a standard TV.
Set your PS3 (manually if neccesary) to output at 720p (1366 x 768 pixels) HD *Not 1080p*
1080p won't look right on a TV that cannot handle the signal
Ensure your are using an HDMI Cable and not the standard scart lead that comes with all games consoles.
Consoles won't give over 576i resolution through the scart composite output.
Currently most console games run at 720p and very few at higher resolutions.
Where you will miss out is watching Bluray discs, which are in full 1080p HD, really.

Use a good quality HDMI lead, make sure all connections are clean and make sure PS3 is switched off before connecting

We have had this tv for 2 months now (2 weeks of which we were away), and the colour started to go grey at the bottom of the screen. When it was switched on again a few hours later all of the screen was grey/green with flashing colours. We took it back to Argos and they said it had to be sent away to see what was wrong with it. We were not very happy about this as we didn't want a 2 month old tv repaired. But they said it was out of the 30 day guarantee and that had to be done. After a week we checked to see if it had been sorted and we were told that they couldn't find a fault but had upgraded the soft ware. (what's that all about?). Eventually Argos agreed to replace the tv, so we'll see how long this one lasts.

Hi there
I havent had mine as long, so no probs with it at mo, but sound like it is a fault with the set!
Only other thing i can think of is, have colour settings been messed with without you knowing, or is there a fault with your signal ( ariel )?
Hope you get it sorted.
take care.x

12 months warranty but I took out the extended warranty for peace of mind. If the parts are not available they replace the tv like for like, plus its covered for accidental damage straight away.

It depends on the number of freeview channels that are available in you area. My partner has one of these in Llanidloes and she can pick up about 40 channels but my identical TV can pick up over 100 where I live in Birmingham.
