3d tv does the tv convert all programmes to 3d or will 3d have to be broadcast by the likes of sky
if i connect my ps3 with it also be in 3d

Yes it does. but not as good as a real 3D source, similar to HD upscaling most probably.

This tv does actually convert 2d signals in to 3d but the effect is not as convincing as something that is actually filmed in 3d

No, it doesnt convert anything to 3D; you view 3D content through 3D providers such as Sky 3D launching summer/autumn.

Is the 2d to 3d conversion any good...with regards to games? Playstation...xbox.
I am very interested to know whether the the TV does a good conversion of 2d games. I have no interest in how the conversion is for films etc. Has anybody tried it?

Yes the coversion is pretty good. You get a good sense of depth. I have a playstation3 and it gave GTA 4 a new depth. However I also bought some 3D games from Playstation network and thats when you really notice the full 3D.
