I have looked into this for you and the Buffalo LinkStation Live 1TB Shared Network Storage does not have a specific user limit. As the Buffalo LinkStation Live 1TB Shared Network Storage is designed for homes and small offices it can take up to approximately 50 basic users. The Buffalo LinkStation Live 1TB Shared Network Storage is connected via an Ethernet connection and then other devices can access it remotely via wireless connection.

Hello, thank you for your question.

I have checked and this product cannot be used as a standard USB connected external hard drive.
It has a USB port, but that is for USB devices, (cameras, flash drives, external hard drives etc.) to be connected to it, as opposed to it being connected to a computer.
