Having looked into your query, I can confirm that you are able to transfer your recordings to a DVD. The easiest way to do this is to insert the memory card from the camcorder to a computer, and then save the recordings to a DVD.

After looking into your query I can confirm that the battery life on the Panasonic London 2012 Olympic Pocket Camcorder is dependent on usage. Having looked at the product manual the only specification that is identified is that this camera has a maximum continuous record time of 50 minutes when set at the following HD resolutions. 1080-60i, 1080-30p and 720-60p. If you were to record at a resolution lower than this the continuous record time would increase.
