the other reply is not correct, stainless steel with copper encapsulated bottoms Do NOT WORK.. you can tell if will work by taking a small magnet[ [a fridge magnet will do} with you to the store and ask to veiw products, if magnet sticks to bottom of pan it will work on induction. Try to use smaller dia pans that fit markings on your hob ,abit over is ok but not toomuch as you lose energy, and may interfere with touch controls etc., I have bought similar items from argos ,though not listed as suitable ,have worked perfectly. DON'T Forget Take a magnet. regards from cornwall.chris.

Hi, thank you for your question.

Having looked into your query, saucepan lids are normally made from tempered glass. It is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. This doesn't mean that it wont break but tempering creates balanced internal stresses which cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.

Thank you for using Q & A.

Question
How do you use steamers correctly?
I have searched the other "questions and answers" and it was mentioned that there should be an instruction booklet with a Cookworks Steamer. There is not one in mine other than telling you to be careful not to burn yourself, and how to clean it. Is there a booklet missing? (i.e. one that actually tells you how long to cook for and what you can cook in it). My main worry is that you have to constantly keep checking throughout the cooking that the water hasn't boiled dry or am I missing something! Thank you

Hello. Thank you for your question.

After contacting a local store, I am sorry to advise that the Living 3 Tier Steamer does not come supplied with an instruction booklet detailing cooking times. For more information on how to operate a steamer please refer to an online search engine of your choice.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
