You can indeed make delicious rice pudding in the 8 in 1 cooker. I make it every couple of days. Tefal have even provided a recipe and instructions in the enclosed booklet that comes in the box. You can also make porridge using the same method.

After contacting the manufacturer, I am sorry to say that it is not possible to cook rice pudding in the Tefal RK302E15 8-in-1 Multi Cooker. Stews however will be possible due the slow cooking programme.

I have spoken to the manufacturers and they have confirmed that suet will not crust meals unless there will at least be the 3-4 inches of space above the food in the multi cooker, else the air could not circulate properly within the product to steam the contents.

Having looked into your query, I can confirm that the Tefal RK302E15 8-in-1 Multi Cooker will use the 'steam' setting for soup recipes.
I am sorry to confirm that it does not have a specific high/low temperature setting, but the cook settings will determine the temperature for your recipes.

If you wanted to programme a delayed start this can range from 2 - 15 hours depending on when you need this to be set to start. The cooking time for cereal/porridge can vary depending on the amount you are trying to cook.
In relation to cooking cakes this will take between 40-45 minutes and the temperature will be preset to the cake programme on the appliance. I do apologise this cooker will not be suitable for cooking pies, there will be a full recipe book included with the product to help you with some ideas.
