Hi Ruth,

I can confirm that this product is suitable with speakers that have an AUX input.
However, this will allow you to only play music and will not be able to charge the product.

I hope this helps,

Question
Can I update the Firmware ?
I bought one of these in November, and the display is only text. I bought another one in December (since I was so impressed with the first one!) and this model has a display with fancy Icons and a Graphic Equalizer during playback.

Is it possible to upgrade the firmware ?

The November model is 13.00.10.1022.110614
The December model is 1.1.00.140221

Hi there,

I can confirm that this MP3 Player does not specifically use Windows Media Player to transfer music but instead, opens up as a folder when plugged into a computer - you would then transfer your music files to this folder.

I hope this helps and thanks for using Argos Q&A.

Once you turn the device on, go to music and whilst the music is actually playing, HOLD the M button for a second or two, that will activate the Modes, take it from there using the forward or back buttons.

Please Note That It Will NOT Work Unless The Music Is Actually Playing, I Hope This Helps Anyone Else Who Has The Same Problem In The Future.
