Hi there,

I can confirm that this MP3 Player does not specifically use Windows Media Player to transfer music but instead, opens up as a folder when plugged into a computer - you would then transfer your music files to this folder.

I hope this helps and thanks for using Argos Q&A.

Once you turn the device on, go to music and whilst the music is actually playing, HOLD the M button for a second or two, that will activate the Modes, take it from there using the forward or back buttons.

Please Note That It Will NOT Work Unless The Music Is Actually Playing, I Hope This Helps Anyone Else Who Has The Same Problem In The Future.

Question
Playing while charging
I would like to play the MP3 whilst in the car on long journeys whilst it is charging via the USB port (connected to the cigarette lighter). There are some contradictory answers to previous questions on here (some say you can and others say you can't). Would you please check and confirm whether this is possible?
Thanks

Rich, You can play the device whilst charging it, I'm actually doing it via the usb port on the computer as I type, when you connect the charger cable into the charge station you will have an option to either "Power and Data" "Charge" or Charge and Play" just scroll to Charge and Play using the Fast Forward button and press play to get you music options.

I Hope That Helps

Hold the play button for a second or two when the ear warning sign comes up, then simply press the forward button to increase the volume, but "Remember that listening to music through earplugs at an increased volume could damage your hearing".

Hi,

It sounds like there is a setting that prevents you from turning the volume up to a level that may be dangerous to your hearing. I cant see anything in the manual regarding this. Have you tried pressing play again when the message shows?

Hi there,

I can confirm that you use the USB to connect to your PC or laptop to transfer music content.
I have found an online manual that will show you how this is done:
