Hi, thank you for your question.
Having looked into this for you I can confirm that the manufacturers cannot guarantee this product will work with the navigation controls on the remote control for the radio. Although you could use the ipod itself to change files that you are listening to if the remote does not work due to the software that is on the iPod Nano 6th generation. So it will work but you may not be able to use the remote control to be able to change song or file that you are listening to, unless you do this manually.

Having spoken to our supplier, I can confirm that the Roberts iDream DAB/FM RDS Digital Stereo Clock Radio is compatible with the iPhone 3. It will charge and play music from this phone.
It is advisable that the phone is put to aeroplane mode when docked to stop any interference through the speakers.
