Having looked into this with the manufacturer, I can confirm that you can chop nuts with the spice grinder but not with the concentrated spice grinder chamber.

Hello, thank you for your question.

I have checked and this product will grind approximately 45 grams of coffee. The amount of coffee required for a cup varies according to taste between 6 and 10 grams so this machine will make enough coffee for between 4 and 7 cups.

i want to grind a tiny amount of chickpeas to make a teaspoon of flour. can it handle it? i dont want to damage the grinder on its first use.

The James Martin ZX809X Spice and Coffee Grinder - Silver is not suitable for grinding chick peas, the suppliers have advised you would need a larger item to do this.

Hi,

The James Martin ZX809X Spice and Coffee Grinder can be used to grind white rice, this should be done without the small quantity attachment, and the bowl should not be overfilled.

DOES THIS GRIND ON AUTO OR DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR HAND OVER IT WHILE IT GRINDS THE COFFEE
ONE COFFEE GRINDER I BROUGHT WAS GOOD BUT WITH DISABILITY PROBLEMS IT WAS DIFFICULT TO USE.
