Question
Will it grind cinnamon sticks?
I need something strong and powerful enough to grind very hard cinnamon sticks. My old coffee grinder did a good job but recently died (probably because I was grinding cinnamon in it). Can you confirm that as a 'spice grinder' this unit has a build quality that can handle cinnamon sticks? Thank you

it is for very small amounts to grind when needed so coffee nuts etc will be freshly ground for better flavour and smell.

Hi, thank you for your question.

I have checked this for you and I cannot find any information to advise that the James Martin ZX809X Spice and Coffee Grinder is not suitable for poppy seeds. Therefore as poppy seeds are the same texture as some spices I would suggest that you use it at your own discretion.

Thank you for using Q & A.

Answer(s)
Hello, thank you for your question.

I have checked and this product will grind approximately 45 grams of coffee. The amount of coffee required for a cup varies according to taste between 6 and 10 grams so this machine will make enough coffee for between 4 and 7 cups.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.

Question
What's the grinder capacity in mls?
I use my current grinder to grind cashews then add water (1 - 2 cups full) and blend to make a 'cream' for desserts etc.
From a point of view of both capacity and adding liquid can I do that in this grinder or would I need to transfer the ground nuts to a blender? (The other product I'm considering is the James Martin ZX808X Table Blender which has a grinder / mill and a jug.)
thanks
